Why I Worship Satan

I was born outside of religion. I started as Anglican when I went to catholic school, was converted to Mormonism, lost faith as I entered high school and then I was outside of religion again.

Years later I thought Buddhism was right for me. I almost wandered into Taoism after seeing a temple in Hong Kong but once I merged the idea of religion and spirituality in my mind I stepped outside of it again.

I lived as an atheist where I thought my job was to uno reverse convert Christians (shout out Buddhism for pulling me back from that one ;)) then I became an agnostic who would listen and respect any religious beliefs and in a way I’m still that agnostic today.

There is a profound feeling of emptiness that comes from losing your god. I’m not sure what it’s like for people who found and lost god as adults but for someone who found and lost god as a child it stings.

I’ve found that I do better when I have something bigger than all of us to believe in. Satanism and Hellenism fit me, at least for right now 🤍
